This post was ment to be bigger and sooner, but our computer finally kicked the bucket. Its been dying slowly for years anyway, but I lost all of my resources, photoshop, my music. Its kind of annoying to have to re-locate it all, but it needs to be done. So this will be the last post here until I get all my graphicy stuff up and running on the new computer (Window's Vista = teh awesome!) ~~Not that anyone really pays attention to this place anyway...~~

Anyway! I hope you guys like these, please comment and credit if you take any, and I'll be back as soon as I can with new icons for you XD

Fruits Basket manga icons are so much fun to make XD

#15 was made in response to a semi-request for KuroFai icons I got from shiroimanjuu. I think it turned out pretty cute ^^ I'll probably make more in the very near future.

Oh, and the lyrics that I used in the #20 and #21 come from Downfall by Matchbox Twenty ^^ I love that song so much, and I think the words work really well for anything Kamui/Fuuma related. And being the nice person that I am, I uploaded it here for anyone interested in listening to it XD

So after years of telling myself I was going to, I finally started to read X/1999. And I love it! I've also decided that Fuuma is one of the sexiest manag characters I've ever come across, hence the small abundance of Fuuma icons in this batch XD

Well, after finding a really nifty colouring tutorial at icon_tutorial, I decided to test it out on my newly acquired House of Flying Daggers screencaps. I'm happy with how they turned out; I loved how colourful the movie was, so I figured it would be the best guinea pig for the tutorial I found.

Expect another update soon (3 days off in a row + no other plans = ICON MAKING FIASCO!) XD

An abundance of Firefly icons this time, to celebrate my purchase of the entire sereis as well as the movie XD

The Katara/Haru fangirl in me started making noise again a few weeks ago, so I made a few icons of that as well. Hehe.

Next time will be more Firefly and Avatar (I'm thinking some Katara/Jet - I like whoring Katara XD), plus some Cruel Intentions, Teen Titans and maybe some Pirates of the Caribbean XD

And now, the tutorials (done in PS 7.0):

Step 1:

Crop your image. I chose this image of Makoto:

Step 2:

Go to Layar > New Adjustment Layar > Hue/Saturation

Set the middle bar to -100 and set that layar to Screen. You'll get something like this:

Step 3:

I used this texture by anais_dirge and set it in a new layar to Screen. You should have somethine like this now:

Step 4:

Next, add this texture, also by anais_dirge and set it to Screen as well

--->

Step 5:

Now take the background layar, copy it and set it to Overlay on top of everything to get this

Step 6:

Repeat Step 5

--->

Step 7:

Add your brush. I used this brush by latexandleather

And you're done ^_^

Step 1:

Choose and crop your image. I chose Zuko for this one because.. Well, I love him.

Step 2:

Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layar > Hue/Saturation

Avatar icon obsession doesn't have an end in sight. I might be making them forever...

I was re-introduced to my sci-fi geek self today, when I watched a couple of Firefly episodes today, there's a few icons from that in there too (Mal/Inara is OTP!!). So yeah, hope you like ^_^

Have also become sick of writing an entire table code with every entry, so from now on, I'm using the icon table generator Bwahaha!

Whoo, big post! I've been making icons pretty much all week as a method of avoiding my homework. So far, its worked pretty well. You may notice the abundance of Avatar icons XD Heh. I ended up watching all of the season 2 episode the other day (all 7 of 'em!). My excuses: Kataang still rocks my socks, I now love Toph, chibi!Zuko is so cute (!) and OMG ZUKO!

Padme/Anakin is probably my favourite tragic romance of any movie I've seen in the last few years, so I made a bunch of them too XD
